Polsinelli Shughart PC expands its national Public Policy group with the addition of a team lead by eight health care senior public policy strategists and professionals. This group brings top-tier, sophisticated regulatory and advocacy experience to Polsinelli Shughart’s established Public Policy group. The firm’s clients will benefit from the expanded health care and regulatory capabilities particularly with the recent passage of healthcare reform.
The following leaders bring their well-established practices and relationships to our firm:
• Alan K. Parver, shareholder, who advises clients on third-party reimbursement and coverage issues
• Steve K. Stranne, shareholder, who assists clients on regulatory, legislative and strategic initiatives
• Cynthia E. Berry, shareholder, who provides strategic counsel on appropriations and health care issues
• Julius W. Hobson, Jr., senior policy advisor, the former director, Division of Congressional Affairs, American Medical Association
• Harry A. Sporidis, senior policy advisor, former senior aid to then-Rep. Jim Greenwood (R-PA).
In addition, two policy advisors and a health care associate will be joining the firm. All are joining from the Washington, D.C. office of Bryan Cave.

They join well-known Polsinelli Shughart Public Policy attorneys including former Texas Congressman Martin Frost, former Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof, and Jim Davidson and Anita R. Estell.
