“I am completely humbled to once again receive recognition among a list of such inspiring and qualified women who make their mark daily on the energy sector,” said Bruner. “It’s an honor to work with my clients in this field that support our thriving energy economy in Colorado, and help us safely, ethically and responsibly utilize our natural resources while contributing to the state’s financial strength.”

Bruner has extensive national and international experience of more than 17 years, handling litigation and transactional matters since the start of her practice in Florida. In recent years, she has been litigating and assisting clients with regulatory matters related to energy, oil and gas, environmental and natural resources, air quality, water quality, negligence, products liability, torts and appellate matters in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and North Dakota.

From 2016-2018, she also served on the ABA SEER Air Quality Committee. She has been an active member of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, serving on the Local Regulatory Committee; the Legal, Legislative and Regulatory Committee; and, on the Environmental Health and Safety Committee. She is a member of the Women’s Energy Network Colorado Chapter and has presented at the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Law of Fracking Institute on the “Evolution and Development of Oil and Gas Operator Agreements.”

Beyond the legal and energy industries, Bruner’s community involvement has included serving on the board of the Colorado Ballet Auxiliary as secretary, historian and newsletter chair. She has been an active volunteer at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School and Church and has taught public speaking to middle schoolers.
