When the snow melts off the streets and sidewalks, George Jackson III plans to bike or in-line skate the nine miles between his home and office. Jackson has made that wheel-assisted commute before, but he wants it to become routine because of a friendly office competition.

"It changes the monotonous commute works like magic,"said

Jackson, a shareholder at Polsinelli Shughart is one of about 30 attorneys and staff at the firm's office participating in a fitness challenge where physical activities count as points.
