Polsinelli Shareholder, Jamie Zveitel Kwiatek was recently named to Missouri Lawyers Media’s 2020 class of Women’s Justice Award honorees. The awards program celebrates the extraordinary professional achievement of women in law and acknowledges the standards of professional excellence honorees have set for their peers. Kwiatek will be recognized at a June 26, 2020 event at The Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis.

As an attorney, Kwiatek has been guiding business owners through the laws and regulations governing employee benefits and executive compensation for more than 35 years. Her dedication to excellence in client service, as well as her commitment to the advancement of women in law, has allowed her to become a role model and steadfast mentor for women attorneys throughout the St. Louis region, as well as across the U.S.

“Jamie understands the valuable role of a motivated workforce in her clients’ continued business success,“ St. Louis Office Managing Partner Jane Arnold said. "Her ability to be a tireless advocate for clients when regulatory compliance issues arise has made her a national leader within the field of employee benefits law. I congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”

Clients and colleagues have consistently recognized the extraordinary acumen and passion Kwiatek brings to every client situation. In 2017, she was named "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers for her achievements in the practice of employee benefits (ERISA) law. This honor is reserved for individual attorneys with the highest overall peer feedback within a specific practice area and geographic region.

In addition to her service to numerous professional organizations, Kwiatek is passionate about the St. Louis community. In particular, she is dedicated to organizations that positively affect the lives of women and children in the region. Currently, she serves as a member of the board of directors for the YWCA of Metro St. Louis, as well as serving as the chair of the YWCA Human Resources Committee.  She is also a member of the YWCA’s 1905 Society and co-chaired one of the Circle of Women events. Prior to her commitment to the YWCA board, Jamie was treasurer of the Board of Directors of Gateway to Hope.
