Kansas City, Missouri-based Polsinelli PC plans to expand its Houston operations following the March acquisition
of Houston-based intellectual property law firm Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg LLP.
Polsinelli, which acquired 44 lawyers from Novak Druce including 14 in Houston, is actively looking to bolster its practice both in its IP practice and elsewhere, Greg Novak, a shareholder for Polsinelli, told the HBJ.
"It's safe to say if all goes right, we'll see expansions in IP and corporate, as well as an entry into health care and more litigation. It should become a more rounded office," Novak said. "We definitely want to dominate and be a major player."
