This brief educational presentation will:

- Provide specific ideas and information to bank management and lenders on how to improve their loan recoveries, beyond
  their usual expectations;
- Cover pre-enforcement considerations, workout issues, enforcement issues, and recoveries of deficiencies;
- Assist lenders in improving their recoveries on troubled assets, while reducing or eliminating risk; and
- Present new strategies that will assist lenders in finding sources of money to bridge gaps in loan recoveries and


Peter Ito is a shareholder and member of the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Business Restructuring practice group at Polsinelli Shughart. He maintains a national bankruptcy practice out of the firm's Denver office. Mr. Ito has represented creditors' committees, debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and seven trustees, litigation trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, equipment lease and finance companies, and buyers of distressed businesses and assets in bankruptcy cases throughout the United States. He also has significant experience in workouts, equity and rents/profits receiverships, and counsels clients on bankruptcy considerations related to business transactions.

Mr. Ito is licensed in California and the District of Columbia only.

In the financial services area of the law, Michael Campbell and Brett Anders excel in loan enforcement. They have prosecuted hundreds of loan recovery actions, receiverships, replevins, fraud claims, injunctive relief and a wide variety of other actions, and have defended numerous lender liability claims, RICO claims, Regulation B claims, mechanic’s lien actions, condemnation proceedings and other claims for lenders.
