SAN FRANCISCO Polsinelli’s Charles O. Thompson, chair of the firm’s national Employment Class Actions Practice Group, has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

“We are proud of Chuck for his many accomplishments, which reflect his long-standing commitment to understanding our clients’ business needs, and his efforts to go a step beyond to grow relationships and provide the best possible results for the client,” said Polsinelli’s Labor and Employment Department Chair Nancy Rafuse. “This honor is a reflection of his dedication, experience, and success in his area of specialty.”
An induction ceremony into the College is scheduled for Nov. 10 and will coincide with the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law section’s continuing legal education conference. With the current installation, the College is represented by more than 1,400 members in 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and eight Canadian provinces. Along with Thompson, Polsinelli has five Fellows, including Dallas-based Lon Williams, Denver-based Sean Gallagher, and Kansas City-based W. Terrence Kilroy, Jr. and Denise Drake.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of labor and employment law. “It is an honor to receive this fellowship from the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers,” Thompson said. “To receive this recognition for my work on behalf of our clients is extremely humbling and very appreciated.”
