Allen J. Dickey, a Dallas-based Polsinelli shareholder, has been elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation
in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements and demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system. Each year, only one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows.
“Allen’s election as a Fellow is a testament to his superior work advising clients on complex debt finance issues related to real estate transactions, and highlights his significant contributions to the Texas legal profession,” said Jon Henderson, managing partner of Polsinelli’s Dallas office. “His commitment to furthering clients’ business goals and dedication to supporting the growth of Texas businesses have made him a well-respected attorney in the region.”
Composed of top attorneys representing various ages, backgrounds and practice areas, the Fellows share a commitment to professional integrity and promoting the cause of justice in Texas. Founded in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the country and is dedicated to using the financial contributions of its membership to build a strong justice system for all Texans.
Drawing on his background as a commercial real estate broker and his experience as a shareholder in Polsinelli’s Real Estate Finance group, Dickey counsels lenders, developers, investors and business owners on all aspects of real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine loan origination and enforcement, CMBS lending, mortgage-backed securitization, construction and development finance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and loan workouts, modifications and extensions. He is regularly invited to present to attorney and industry groups regarding real estate, lending and loan enforcement topics.
In addition to his election as a Fellow, Dickey was selected for inclusion on the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2008-2009. Extending his leadership to the Dallas community, Dickey serves as an election judge for Dallas County and has provided pro bono legal services through Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.
Dickey earned both his J.D. and bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.
