Polsinelli’s Chicago office is expanding to a third floor in the Chicago Title and Trust Building, 161 N. Clark Street. Polsinelli gains an additional 18,000 square feet to accommodate the firm’s growing Chicago office. The firm is ranked as one of the fastest growing law firms in the country, and the Chicago office has been part of the growth plan in adding key laterals from well-known Chicago firms. In the current fiscal year, 18 lawyers have joined the Chicago office, including 11 shareholders, bringing the total to 64 in Chicago.

“We’ve come a long way in six years,” said Chicago Managing Director Anthony J. Nasharr, who helped start the firm in 2006 with just six attorneys who were part of his boutique firm. “We are very excited to be part of a growing national law firm, and expanding to the 46th floor will help us accommodate our clients and serve them with greater resources and talent that the professionals we have added provide.”

Polsinelli moved into Tishman Speyer’s Chicago Title and Trust Building in 2009, originally occupying 29,000 square feet on the 41st and 42nd floors. Whitney Architects assisted in converting the raw space to accommodate 30 lawyers at the time. For this expansion, Cushman Wakefield brokered the lease for Polsinelli.

The expansions included:
  • 2009 – Started with 29,000 square foot on 41st and 42nd floors
  • 2011- Expansion of the 41st floor to 42,000 square feet
  • 2012- Expansion to the 46th floor for a total of 60,000 square feet
The Chicago office expansion follows recent office additions for Polsinelli including Dallas and Los Angeles offices in 2011. Denver, New York, Phoenix, St. Louis and Wilmington have all relocated to new spaces or expanded to keep up with the firm’s growth.
