Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli is pleased to announce Tony W. Torain, II, a shareholder in the firm’s Washington D.C. office, has been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). This prestigious recognition is reserved for a select group of lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership is limited to only one percent of licensed attorneys in the U.S. and a select number of international lawyers.
“On behalf of the Polsinelli firm, I congratulate Tony on this well-deserved honor,” Philip G. Feigen, Washington D.C. Office Managing Partner, said. ”His commitment and dedication to advancing the field of law, as well as the vibrant mission of the ABF Fellows, will quickly establish him as an integral member of this elite group of lawyers.”
Established in 1955, the Fellows organization is a global honorary society comprised of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars, who provide financial support to sustain the ABF’s scholarship to advance justice and the understanding of law. Fellows promote ABF research to the legal profession and other parties who will benefit from awareness of its content. To become a Fellow, attorneys are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.
