David L. Barrack joined Polsinelli as a shareholder, bringing with him decades of experience in complex bankruptcy restructuring and litigation. Meanwhile, Jeremy R. Johnson joined Polsinelli as a shareholder, armed with 15 years of experience in financial restructuring, insolvency issues and distressed debt matters.

Barrack handles distressed debt, corporate restructuring, workouts, bankruptcy and insolvency, asset recovery and other matters. He represents debtors, creditors and equity committees, investors, bondholders, secured and unsecured creditors, as well as purchasers and sellers of assets in bankruptcy cases. He also regularly serves as lead transactional and litigation counsel and counsels clients with respect to fiduciary duties, director and officer liability and fraudulent conveyance issues.

Johnson’s financial restructuring practice focuses on representing distressed companies requiring corporate or debt restructuring, debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations, buyers of distressed assets through Section 363 asset sales or plans and individual creditors or committees in bankruptcy proceedings.
