Polsinelli Shareholder Jennifer Evans has been appointed to the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Board of Directors. Evans will be among the new board members recognized at the AHLA’s Annual Meeting June 24-26 in Boston, and will assume office following the meeting. Evans serves as the Office Managing Partner for Polsinelli’s Denver office and is a member of the firm’s national Health Care Operations Practice.
“On behalf of our entire firm, we congratulate Jennifer on earning this distinguished board position with the AHLA,” said Polsinelli Health Care Department Chair Matt Murer. “Jennifer has compiled a remarkable number of achievements over the course of her career and is a very talented health care attorney. Her entire career has been focused within the health care industry, and she will be a valuable member of the AHLA Board and organization as a whole.”
Prior to being appointed to the Board of Directors, Evans served on the Program Committee for the AHLA’s Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursement.
“I’m excited to join the AHLA board and look forward to continuing to serve the AHLA,” said Evans. “The AHLA is a long-time leader in the health care legal field, and I am eager to expand my involvement as a Board member for continued knowledge and collaboration with industry professionals to guide us in solving some of the industry’s most complex issues.”

She represents a variety of client types including large and small hospital systems, children’s hospitals, multi-state specialty service providers, durable medical equipment suppliers, health care manufacturers, physician practice managers, laboratories, health care management franchisors and more.
Evans previously served as deputy director of the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), the single state agency responsible for administering Medicaid and the Child Health Plan Plus programs.
