Nashville’s Kolin Holladay Serves as President of Middle Market Deal-making Group

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli congratulates shareholder Kolin Holladay and the membership of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) Tennessee chapter on their selection as the organization’s “Chapter of the Year.”  Holladay, the current president of ACG Tennessee, accepted the “Chapter of the Year Award” at the ACG InterGrowth 2019 conference in Orlando, Fla. on May 6 and said “The success of the Tennessee Chapter of ACG is credited to the hard work of Chapter Executive Jane Ferrell and the members of the Board.  I have enjoyed working with the team to further the growth of the Chapter and look forward to continuing that work throughout my term as President.”

“The firm is proud of what Kolin has accomplished as president of the ACG Tennessee chapter,” said Jonathan K. Henderson, Office Managing Partner in Dallas and Practice Chair of Polsinelli’s Corporate and Transactional practice. “ACG is an important organization for the deal-making community, and one that the firm is happy to have as a partner in Nashville and across our other markets. Our attorneys’ active involvement with ACG is a key national initiative for our M&A practice. Kolin is the pillar of the relationship, and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the future.”

ACG is the global community for middle market M&A dealmakers and business leaders focused on driving growth.  The “Chapter of the Year” award recognizes outstanding smaller-market ACG chapters.

ACG Tennessee, initially launched as ACG Memphis in 2004, was expanded to a state wide chapter and re-launched in 2010.  Since then, membership has tripled, with monthly meetings held, on an alternating basis, in Nashville and Memphis.

While attending Intergrowth, Holladay, a transactional attorney based in Polsinelli’s Nashville office, also participated in the conference panel “Healthcare Provider-Type Acquisitions: Regulatory Pitfalls Affecting PE Firms.” The panel delved into how private equity investors can avoid and manage pitfalls related to acquiring healthcare providers.
