National law firm Polsinelli welcomes Eric R. Gray, Alicia M. Kirkpatrick and Ian P. McDonald to the firm as associates. Gray will focus on business and intellectual property issues; Kirkpatrick will assist clients with tax and business matters; and McDonald focuses on real estate development and transactions.

Added as associates in Kansas City:
- Eric R. Gray - Business Department with a practice focus on science and technology, particularly regarding business and intellectual property issues in the technology and health care industries. He earned a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2007, and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from KU in 2000. Gray has prior experience as an in-house counsel at a large global technology firm.
- Alicia M. Kirkpatrick - Business Department with a practice focus on tax and business planning. She assists both nonprofit and for profit entities with formation, structure and operational issues. She earned a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2009, and an LL.M. degree in Taxation from the Northwestern School of Law in 2010. Her B.A. degree in Supply and Value Chain Management was earned at Texas Christian University in 2006.
- Ian P. McDonald - Financial Services Department with a practice focus on real estate development and transactions. He advises clients in commercial real estate transactions, land use and zoning, and public finance. He earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University in 2010, and a B.S. degree in Economics, Business Management from Kansas State University in 2005.
The addition of the new associates occurs during an exciting period of overall growth for Polsinelli, which has included the recent opening of new offices in Dallas and Los Angeles. The National Law Journal
