With growing anxiety over economic, political, and social divides, the national and regional economies are not delivering prosperity for all, challenging business leaders and policymakers nationwide. The uneven distribution of jobs, wages and economic output is particularly confounding in light of today’s tight labor pools and mounting workforce needs. This final Public Policy Up Close event will examine how Kansas City peers, Nashville and Indy, are addressing economic barriers and challenges that prevent many of their citizens from taking part in local economic growth.

Speakers for this important session will include:
Brookings Fellow Joe Parilla
Nashville Chamber President Ralph Schulz
Indianapolis Chamber Chief Policy Officer Mark Fisher

Please join us for this provocative dialogue to help regional leaders apply a new lens to economic inclusivity in greater Kansas City.
