Polsinelli Announces Election of 23 New Shareholders Nationwide

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli announced today the election of 23 attorneys to shareholder, based on their superior work and client service delivery. The new shareholders span across 10 offices and more than a dozen service areas.

“It takes time, dedication and hard work to become a shareholder at our firm, and I’m proud to recognize this deserving group of attorneys,” said Polsinelli Chairman and CEO Russ Welsh. “With their attention to client service and proven accomplishments, our firm will continue to create value and help our clients achieve their business goals.”

News of the 23 new shareholders comes during a busy time for the firm, as it recently announced significant internal restructuring changes. Earlier this month, Polsinelli announced the creation of two new departments, Health Care and Labor & Employment, and also named longtime Shareholder Kraig Kohring the firm’s new Chair of the Real Estate & Financial Services Department, which has more than 170 attorneys.

Earlier this year, Polsinelli created an Intellectual Property Department to accommodate growing client needs. The firm has doubled its number of departments – six – in 2017. Additionally, Real Estate Practice Group and Real Estate Equity Group Chair Chase Simmons was elected as Polsinelli’s Vice Chair and Chair-Elect in June, and will become the firm’s third Chairman on Jan. 1, 2019.
