Polsinelli Shareholder Bill Mateja Recognized by D CEO Magazine as Influential Leader in North Texas
Dallas-based Polsinelli shareholder Bill Mateja has been recognized in D CEO’s 2018 Dallas 500
publication as one of the Dallas area’s most powerful and influential business leaders. This is the second consecutive year Mateja has earned this honor in the Law – White Collar Criminal Defense subcategory.

A white collar trial lawyer with a particular focus on healthcare fraud and securities enforcement, Mateja represents clients in complex, high-stakes litigation matters. A former prosecutor at the highest levels of the U.S. Department of Justice, he was responsible for all the Department’s white collar operations, as well as the day-to-day workings of its corporate fraud task force. Mateja also served as special counsel for health care fraud overseeing all of the Department’s health care fraud enforcement.

. His extensive leadership in the legal industry and bar associations, both locally and nationally, further illustrate his talent, success and passion for the law. Last year, Mateja was selected as a recipient of the Texas Tech University School of Law’s 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award, in recognition of his significant contributions to the legal profession and the law school program.
Mateja earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame.
