Rodney L. Lewis will serve on Board of Directors
Polsinelli congratulates Shareholder Rodney L. Lewis
for his appointment by The Chicago Committee to serve on its Board of Directors.
The organization, formerly known as The Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms, is committed to transforming the legal profession and advancing the careers of minority attorneys.
“It’s an honor to be able to serve,” said Lewis. “So many notable leaders in the Chicago legal community have dedicated themselves to the Committee’s great work. I am thrilled to be in their company and excited to contribute to their efforts. There is much to be hopeful about – Chicago law firms are very committed to promoting the recruitment, hiring, retention, and promotion to partnership of minority lawyers – but there is a lot of work to do in bringing that commitment into reality.”
“Rodney’s appointment is a testament to his great talent and his dedication to serving the legal profession,” said Danielle Carr, Polsinelli’s Director of Diversity and Inclusion and herself a former Executive Director of the Chicago Committee. “As a firm, we know that creating equal opportunities for minority lawyers is an integral part of our ongoing success. Rodney is a leader both inside and outside the firm, and absolutely dedicated to bringing diverse talents together to serve business clients.”
