Polsinelli Shareholder and Acclaimed Food Writer Returns to St. Louis
Polsinelli Shareholder Lauren P. DeSantis-Then
, author of Capital Cooking Cookbook
and founder of the television show and blog of the same name, has moved back to her hometown of St. Louis.
As a lawyer in the firm’s national Government Investigations and Compliance – Civil and Criminal practice, DeSantis-Then moved from the firm’s Washington D.C. office to continue her work on government investigations, government contracts, construction and public-private partnerships, particularly in the health care industry. Her experience includes defending health care providers against whistleblower suits under the False Claims Act, representing a specialty pharmacy company in a qui tam investigation, and successfully assisting a physicians’ trade association group with notice and comment regarding home health care services.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Truman State University and graduated from Duke University School of Law where she served as articles editor of Duke Journal of Gender and Law Policy
