Polsinelli welcomes Andrew Ryerson to its Chicago office, where he will serve as counsel on real estate finance transactions.

Beginning his law career as a traditional real estate attorney and gradually shifting his focus to the finance side, Ryerson has a passion for what he does.

"Real estate deals are such a vital part of the economy," he says. "It's exciting to be a part of making them happen."

A graduate of De Paul law school, Ryerson was drawn to Polsinelli because so many of his new colleagues share his enthusiasm for this work.

"It's a fast-growing firm, with a fast-growing real estate finance practice," Ryerson says. “It's a great place to be.”

Polsinelli Real Estate Finance Department Chair Maribeth McMahon says Ryerson is well-suited to his new professional home. "Andy's transactional experience is deep,” she remarks. "He's as committed to making things happen as our clients are. That kind of focus is an important part of our culture."

The Chicago office of Polsinelli opened in 2006 with just six attorneys and has since expanded to more than 80 lawyers working in 12 practice areas, including six attorneys now focusing on real estate finance.
