Polsinelli welcomes Carrie L. Carpenter to the firm’s Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Practice as an attorney. Carpenter is part of a national team of attorneys who defend companies involved in complex toxic and mass tort litigation. She follows the addition of Attorney Jennifer Franklin who joined in January, and Associate Cecelia Carroll who came onboard late last year. All three practice in the firm’s Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Practice in St. Louis.
“I am very excited to expand my role at Polsinelli and be part of a national team of attorneys who are business-minded and committed to their clients,” said Carpenter.
The addition of Carpenter occurs during a particularly exciting period of growth for Polsinelli. The firm was named the fastest growing law firm in America* according to The American Lawyer. Polsinelli moved up to 69th from 78th according to a ranking of the largest law firms published in The National Law Journal.
“We are pleased to welcome Carrie to our growing practice,” said Dennis J. Dobbels, chairman of the firm’s Toxic and Mass Tort Practice. “Building our team with quality attorneys like Carrie continues to provide value and benefit our clients.”
Carpenter earned her law degree from St. Louis University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, magna cum laude, from Millikin University in 2005. While in law school, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Women’s Law Association. Carpenter is a member of the American Bar Association.
Carpenter balances her law career with an exciting personal hobby. She’s a member of the Arch Rival Rollers Girls Roller Derby Squad which is the area’s only female flat track roller derby league. She also serves on the organization’s board of directors as a vice president. ARRG is committed to a number of charitable causes in St. Louis including Girls On The Run St. Louis and the Adopt-a-Highway Program among many others.
