Polsinelli Attorney Appointed to the Board of Directors of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Gateway Chapter

Christopher E. Erker, a shareholder at national law firm Polsinelli and chair of the firm’s Environmental and Natural Resources practice, has been named to the board of directors of the Gateway Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

“We are thrilled to have Chris as part of our local leadership team,” Debbie Kersting, executive director of the Gateway Chapter said. “His corporate legal background, business acumen and dedication to our organization are an invaluable asset to our organization. I am immensely grateful for his service and look forward to working with him to move our chapter forward.”

An attorney with more than 20 years of experience, Erker concentrates exclusively on environmental matters, and health and safety matters. He has been ranked by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Environment for the past six years.

“At Polsinelli, we value our community tremendously and are active in organizations we are personally passionate about,” Erker said. “The group’s mission is to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients and I am proud to serve.”

Erker also serves on the board of directors of Forest ReLeaf of Missouri and is a member of the Headwaters Conservancy. He is active in the Environmental and Energy Law Committee of The Missouri Bar and the Environmental and Conservation Law Committee of the The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law.
