Polsinelli welcomes Chris Pedroley to the firm as an associate to serve clients with tax credit finance and development matters. Polsinelli’s Tax Credit Finance and Development Group is nationwide and provides clients with significant knowledge and industry experience regarding the development and financing of projects utilizing federal historic tax credits, federal new markets tax credits, federal energy tax credits and federal low-income housing tax credits.

“We are very pleased to have Chris join us and expand our tax credit practice,” said Janice E. Hetland, practice area chair. “Chris is a valued member of our practice, and will assist us in continuing to provide and expand the high level of service that our clients deserve.”

Pedroley earned his law degree, cum laude, at Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. Previously, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007. Pedroley served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Audrey Fleissig at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. During law school, he was a member of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review and earned the honor scholar award in both his second and third years.

“I was drawn to this particular area of law for two discrete reasons,” Pedroley said. “First, I am very interested real estate development and the processes involved in structuring such deals. Second, the tax credit aspect ensures development in low-income communities. Polsinelli’s longstanding reputation of providing exceptional legal services and a commitment to understanding their client’s business were attractive to me.”

Pedroley is a member of both the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations, as well as the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. A resident of Clayton, he enjoys staying active by lifting weights and playing softball in his spare time.

Additions to the St. Louis office were instrumental in the firm’s growth. Polsinelli is ranked as the fastest growing law firm in America five years in a row according to The American Lawyer. The firm was featured in the June issue.
