Polsinelli is pleased to announce the election of Christopher Ward to the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Board of Directors. Ward co-chairs Polsinelli’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice and also serves as the Delaware office managing partner.

As a longtime member of the ABI, Ward was elected to the Board of Directors during its 34th Annual Spring Meeting this month in Washington, D.C. This is Ward’s first term as a member of the Board of Directors.

“I am honored to be elected to the ABI Board,” said Ward. “I have tremendous respect for all of my restructuring colleagues at ABI and I look forward to continuing my commitment to both the ABI and the Endowment Fund, which supports such worthy causes as the Chapter 11 Commission and Ethics Task Force.”

Ward also serves as the Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Endowment Fund for ABI. He was the Editor and Author of the Chief Restructuring Officer’s Guide to Bankruptcy: Views from Leading Insolvency Professionals, published by the ABI in 2013.

At Polsinelli, Ward focuses his practice on bankruptcy, financial restructuring and creditors’ rights matters. He has over 17 years of practice working with distressed companies and has significant experience in representing Chapter 11 debtors, Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors and bankruptcy litigants across the country.
