Denver Attorney Colin Deihl Joins Polsinelli’s Growing Commercial Litigation Team
Polsinelli announced today Colin Deihl
joined its Denver office
as shareholder, adding to its growing national Commercial Litigation practice.
Deihl brings more than 25 years of legal experience, focusing on complex and often technical business disputes, including environmental and real estate matters. He manages all stages of litigation, including jury and bench trials, class actions, arbitrations and settlements. He also assists clients with sensitive internal investigations and compliance counseling.
“Colin has a very impressive track record representing clients in complex and high-profile cases, and is extremely well versed in all aspects of business and real estate litigation,” said Stacy Carpenter
, chair of the firm’s national Commercial Litigation practice. “His knowledge and skills in the courtroom are evident, and we’re very pleased that he’s now working on behalf of our clients.”
Deihl’s litigation experience includes claims for breach of contract, fraud, breach of representations and warranties, and violation of federal environmental statutes like the Clean Air Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), known also as Superfund. As a real estate litigation attorney, he has handled a wide variety of disputes, including conflicts over land-use, development, and disputes between surface and mineral owners.

Deihl earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental science from the University of Vermont. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
