Polsinelli announced today the addition of two real estate attorneys who will assist clients in Denver and nationally on prominent real estate transactions. The key additions include Patricia Gruber as a shareholder and Melinda Pasquini as an associate. With their strong business and legal experience, they focus their practice on transactions including commercial property, corporate mergers and health care real estate.

Gruber and Pasquini are part of the firm’s national Real Estate Division, with a team of attorneys in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Overland Park, New York, Phoenix and St. Louis providing practical legal guidance and business acumen on issues management in an ever-changing real estate landscape.

“Patricia and Melinda will continue to strengthen our firm’s value to clients as a leader in real estate transactions,” said Polsinelli Real Estate Division Chair John Petersen. “We are proud to have assembled a top-notch real estate team in Denver and throughout the country. We pride ourselves in being part of our clients’ team, developing a deep understanding of the variables and business implications in real estate matters, and finding the best solutions for our clients.”

Gruber has twenty years of experience as a real estate attorney, as well as substantial experience representing clients in equity structuring and business transactional matters, all of which leave her well suited to handle today’s complex real estate structuring and negotiations. Gruber’s background includes representation of both investors and developers in acquisition and ownership of a variety of property types nationwide, including multi-family, office, hospitality and mixed use. Gruber earned her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.

“I am pleased to join this business-focused team of real estate attorneys who have a deep understanding of their clients business needs,” said Gruber from her Denver office. “The firm’s wide range of experience and national and local resources attracted me to Polsinelli, and I look forward to continued growth with the firm.”

As a previous business owner with more than 15 years of combined legal and corporate experience, Pasquini leads complex transactions with a collaborative approach that meets clients’ business and legal needs. Pasquini focuses on a variety of complex real estate matters including debt and equity financing, commercial property acquisition, development and leasing, affordable housing and low-income housing tax credits. Pasquini earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she graduated Order of St. Ives and was senior staff editor of the Denver University Law Review.
