The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers inducted two Polsinelli attorneys as Fellows into the prestigious organization at a ceremony held in Los Angeles. Shareholders Steve Fox and Sean Gallagher attended the induction ceremony at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles which coincided with the annual meeting of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment  Section. The Fellow designation is the highest peer recognition offered to lawyers in the field of labor and employment law, reflecting sustained outstanding performance in the profession, integrity, dedication and excellence.

Regarded as one of the leading complex commercial and employment litigators in Texas, Fox earned widespread recognition after winning a $32 million jury trial on behalf of a renowned computer-game executive and developer. Fox represents and counsels clients across the country in matters involving trade secrets, corporate espionage, unfair competition, employment collective and class actions, employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters.

“I am humbled and honored to have been inducted into the College. I could not have earned this honor without the hard work and dedication of the talented lawyers with whom I work,” said Fox.

Denver’s Sean Gallagher has spent more than 25 years representing clients in boardrooms and courtrooms across the country. In 2012, Gallagher became one of only a handful of lawyers in Colorado history to have argued a case in the Supreme Court of the United States and prevailed with a unanimous decision.

“Now more than ever, employers need a lawyer who understands how to successfully navigate the turbulent waters where business intersects with government,” said Gallagher.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers was established in 1995 through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association. It operates as a freestanding organization recognizing those who, by long and outstanding service, have distinguished themselves as leaders in the field of labor and employment law.

Polsinelli continues to grow as a leader in labor and employment law, with more than 50 full-time labor and employment attorneys who understand the complexity and sensitivity of employee relations and workplace issues. Polsinelli offers clients extensive experience providing employers with cost-efficient advice and aggressive defenses on employment and labor law matters.

With the current installation, the College is represented by more than 1,300 members in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and eight provinces from Canada.
