Polsinelli welcomes experienced merger and acquisition attorney Marc B. Leh as a principal in the firm’s national Corporate and Transactional Practice. With more than 25 years of experience, Leh has been involved in more than 250 M&A transactions ranging in size from $10 million to more than $1 billion.

“Marc’s experience in complex deal making and his understanding of the goals of clients involved in M&A activity adds substantial depth of knowledge to our firm in Los Angeles and nationally,” said Jon Henderson who is chair of the Corporate and Transactional Practice. “We are excited to have Marc begin assisting clients with his practical legal guidance in a law firm that truly operates without geographic boundaries.”

Leh’s M&A transactions have ranged from very complex, multi-party and multi-jurisdictional matters involving large teams of attorneys working in various countries around the world, to more straight forward transactions residing entirely in the Southern California area. He has routinely assisted clients with private equity and venture capital transactions, equity and debt financings, and strategic alliance and joint venture transactions.

Over the years, Leh has worked with a variety of clients – from Fortune 100 corporations to smaller individual or family-run businesses – and represented clients in numerous industries, including automotive, defense, fluid & motion, electronics, consumer products, technology, real estate, textile, finance, biotech and medical devices and food and produce.

“I was attracted to Polsinelli for many reasons including the opportunity to expand my work in middle-market M&A,” said Leh, who is a third generation Californian. “But I particularly welcomed the opportunity to be a part of a growing coast-to-coast firm expanding not only in Los Angeles, but San Francisco as well. I’m really excited to be here.”

The American Lawyer Magazine recognized Polsinelli as the fastest-growing law firm in America fox six years. This year, the firm moved up in ranking to #93 in the AmLaw 100. The West Coast has been part of that growth. Polsinelli opened its Los Angeles office in 2011 and this year added a San Francisco office doubling the size of the office.

Leh earned his law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1986, and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1982. He has been a member of the California Bar since 1986.
