Citing a shared commitment to the spirit of innovation, national law firm Polsinelli is lending its support as a sponsor and legal mentor for the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator, powered by Techstars located in the Crossroads District of Kansas City, Missouri. Polsinelli will be the exclusive legal sponsor for the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator and provide legal assistance to the ten innovative companies who are developing products and services that hope to revolutionize mobile health care technology. Each company coming through the Sprint Accelerator that selects Polsinelli as primary counsel will receive a $10,000 credit towards legal fees. Polsinelli attorneys will provide business acumen and legal services to these cutting edge companies in areas important to technology startups, including formation services, financing, health care regulatory matters and intellectual property development and protection. The ten startups will arrive at the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator on March 11.

Kratofil, who is deeply involved in the tech scene in Kansas City, says startup activity has taken off in the past few years. The Sprint Accelerator powered by Techstars will further demonstrate some of the advantages for companies considering locating in the Midwest. Supporting and fostering these young companies creates economic development and entrepreneurial opportunities for the business community throughout the region.
