Prominent business litigation and employment attorney Stephen Fox has joined the Dallas office of Polsinelli as an equity shareholder in the firm’s national Labor and Employment, and Commercial Litigation practices.

Regarded as one of the state’s leading complex commercial and employment litigators, Fox earned widespread recognition after winning a $28 million jury verdict and $32 million final judgment on behalf of a renowned computer-game executive and developer. The verdict against the developer’s former employer for breaching a stock option agreement was recognized by The National Law Journal as one of Texas’ 10 largest verdicts in 2010.

“I am excited to join a full-service firm as dynamic as Polsinelli,” says Fox, who has more than 25 years’ experience as a litigator and counselor. Polsinelli’s reputation for its business-minded approach and commitment to client excellence complement my practice and will be of great value to my clients.”

The high-profile addition of Fox exemplifies Polsinelli’s commitment to growth in Dallas and nationally. The Dallas office has grown tenfold since opening with three attorneys in 2011 and Polsinelli has been recognized as the fastest-growing law firm in America over the past six years.

“Steve brings significant litigation and courtroom experience and acumen to Polsinelli, as well as a reputation for advising top-tier executives,” says Dallas Managing Partner Jon Henderson. “He’s a great match for our firm, and we are pleased to include his strategic guidance, enthusiasm and leadership in our office and nationally. Steve truly embraces and embodies the Polsinelli approach of lawyers working as one national firm without walls.”

Fox represents and counsels clients across the country in matters involving trade secrets, corporate espionage, unfair competition, employment collective and class actions, employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters.

“We’re pleased to add a litigator and adviser of Steve’s caliber to our growing national Labor and Employment Practice,” says Practice Chair Terrence Kilroy. “His business-focused approach and highly recognized litigation capabilities align with our commitment to provide strategic advice that gives our clients the tools to make better business decisions.”

Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Fox recently was admitted to the prestigious College of Labor & Employment Lawyers. He has earned recognition on the Texas Super Lawyers listing among the top 100 lawyers in Texas and top 100 attorneys in Dallas-Fort Worth.
