Polsinelli Welcomes Dallas Labor and Employment Shareholder Tom Reddin

Theanna Sedlock also joins Labor and Employment practice as associate

Polsinelli has added shareholder Thomas Reddin to its thriving Dallas Labor and Employment practice. For more than 30 years, Reddin has been an advocate for businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the country by providing counsel on complex employment litigation matters.

“Tom brings significant value to our Labor and Employment practice with his deep understanding of the many, modern-day litigation risks that companies face,” said Jon Henderson, managing partner of Polsinelli’s Dallas office and chair of the firm’s national Corporate and Transactional practice. “Our clients will greatly benefit from his consultative guidance and hands-on expertise with a wide range of complex employment and litigation matters.”

Reddin regularly represents and counsels employers involved in a wide range of employee relations matters and workplace issues, including equal employment opportunity; trade secrets and unfair competition; federal and state wage and hour claims; wage/hour investigations and audits; workplace investigations; noncompetition, nonsolicitation and other restrictive covenant claims; discrimination, retaliation and whistleblower claims; internal complaints and investigations; and tort, commercial and other business claims. His experience and credentials also help him advise clients and represent them effectively in traditional labor matters including union campaigns and elections; collective bargaining; and union-related discipline and discharge cases.

Throughout Reddin’s career, he has appeared at trials, hearings and appeals before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and other tribunals. He also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution proceedings including arbitration, mediation and conciliation.

“Joining Polsinelli’s Labor and Employment practice gives me the opportunity to represent top-tier clients on a national level,” said Reddin. “I look forward to working alongside some of the most distinguished attorneys in the nation and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm’s dynamic Dallas office.”

Reddin earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Marquette University. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Texas Super Lawyers.

In addition to Reddin, Theanna Sedlock has joined Polsinelli’s Dallas office as a new associate in the Labor and Employment practice. Sedlock has experience representing employers in state and federal court litigation, arbitrations, and mediations involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, unpaid wages and breaches of contract, and draws on her valuable pre-practice experience in the Human Resources department of a national insurance company.

She earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas at Austin, and previously completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, summa cum laude, at The University of New Mexico.
