What is your company's hiring process on background checks? What questions can you ask a potential applicant? Recently, WAFS invited Polsinelli's Nancy Rafuse to address "Ban the Box" legislation and other workplace issues. "Ban the Box" is a campaign to remove certain questions from job applications related to whether an applicant has ever been convicted of a crime. Nancy was a guest on 1190's Dana Barrett show to discuss. Nancy leads the firm's national Labor and Employment Practice and is the Managing Partner of the firm's Atlanta office.
