The American Lawyer Announces Global Legal Awards
"ALM's The American Lawyer announced its inaugural Global Legal Awards honoring outstanding cross-border legal work from around the globe, regardless of the forum or mode of lawyering, along with extraordinary global pro bono and social responsibility initiatives.
Polsinelli was chosen as an honoree, along with other firms, for involvement in the Global M & A Deal of the Year: U.S. - Softbank/Sprint."
Polsinelli's representation included acting as "Kansas transactional counsel as well as lobbying and litigation counsel," according to Polsinelli Shareholder William W. Mahood III.
In fact, Mahood notes, the breadth and depth of the Polsinelli reach proved helpful at the federal level, when Anita Estell, a member of our Public Policy group, was engaged to ensure that deliberations at the national level stayed on course for approval and completion of the deal. The diversified strengths of our team were a definite value-add.
