Republicans gained control of the U.S. Senate winning seats in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota and West Virginia. This is the first time since 2007 the Senate has gained majority control. Bloomberg Television spoke to Polsinelli's Martin Frost about the results and what's ahead for the presidential election.
In his 26 years of congressional experience, Congressman Frost served for eight years as a member of the House Democratic Leadership, spending four years as Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and four years as Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. As a result, he knows personally virtually every member of the current Democratic Leadership and most of the ranking Democrats on key House Committees. Additionally, nearly half of the current members of the U.S. Senate, both Democrats and Republicans, served with Congressman Frost in the House.
