Alfred Chu counsels domestic and foreign clients in a wide variety of intellectual property matters with an emphasis in electrical engineering, patent litigation and patent prosecution. With over ten years of experience, Alfred prepares and prosecutes patent applications and has filed a variety of post grant proceedings including Inter Partes Review. He understands the complexities of both the technology and the legal matters required to protect clients’ intellectual rights. 

Drawing from his electrical engineering degree and legal experience, Alfred counsels individuals and businesses on a wide range of patent, trademark issues. He has a wide breadth of experience in broadband technology, telecommunication systems, medical devices, computer hardware/software, signal processing, computer networks and virtual machines, imaging technology, e-commerce and virtual reality systems and devices.
