Abby Flanagan focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions and dispositions, management, and development on a variety of asset types, including multi-family residential, industrial, office, hotel and condominium. She has handled complex transactions both locally in Chicago and throughout the country, including the sale of a landmark hotel and casino in Puerto Rico. She has substantial experience representing both financial institutions and borrowers in construction, mezzanine and general secured real estate financings. Abby also represents both landlords and tenants in various leasing transactions.

Abby strives to approach each transaction with a careful, pragmatic view towards business considerations and legal complexities and firmly believes that the key to a successful outcome is understanding the client’s business and priorities.

Abby is an active member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Chicago.  Prior to practicing law, Abby served as a law clerk in the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and interned in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom for MP Bill Olner.
