Andrew Johnson is an experienced lead trial attorney that focuses on representing companies in product liability matters, contractual disputes, and other complex litigation.  As a part of his practice he regularly represents companies in high-dollar lawsuits that can directly impact the company’s bottom line.  Andrew is committed to partnering with clients to fully understand their litigation goals and business objectives in order to provide the best representation for each unique matter.

 Andrew’s practice centers on representing businesses and organizations in a variety of litigation matters and disputes, including:

  • Defending large-loss product liability matters nationwide involving property damage, severe injury, and death. 
  • Employment disputes, including enforcement of non-compete agreements and wrongful termination claims.
  • Breach of contract claims stemming from service agreements, insurance policies, and asset purchase agreements.
  • Construction related matters, including contractual disputes, liens, and construction defect matters.
  • Represents a Fortune 500 rental equipment company in various transportation and product liability actions, including multiple wrongful death actions.
  • Represents a large self-moving rental company in transportation, premises liability, and product liability claims.
  • Regularly represents companies in claims involving non-payment, nonconforming goods or services, and other contractual disputes. 
  • Successfully defended a vehicle component part manufacturer in a wrongful death and class action matter involving an allegedly defective parking interlock switch.
  • Represented and negotiated a favorable settlement for a steel forging manufacturer whose product was involved in a natural gas compressor station fire and explosion that caused in excess of $30 million in damages.
  • Successfully represented a large, national marketing company in a lawsuit against a former executive and her new employer to enforce non-compete provisions in her employment contract.
  • Represented a major crossbow manufacturer in several lawsuits alleging injuries to users as a result of a design and warning defect.
  • Successfully obtained $27 million in insurance coverage for cyber-related claims from its insurers after first being denied entirely for coverage by its insurer. 
  • Represented a private university in alleged discrimination cases brought by students.
  • Represented a large window installation company against contractual claims, indemnity claims, and construction defect claims in a multi-million dollar damages case centering on water-intrusion allegations for a mid-rise condominium building.
  • Represented a plumbing subcontractor against contractual and construction defect claims stemming from the new construction of commercial property.
