Ashley Kappel strategically approaches client needs to identify practical, business-minded solutions to complicated legal issues. She supports clients throughout each phase of a transaction by drafting and negotiating agreements, evaluating due diligence materials, managing the entitlements process, and troubleshooting unresolved issues to close the deal. By anticipating arguments on both sides of the table and offering compromises for resolution, Ashley protects the specialized interests of sophisticated landlord and tenant clients throughout the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial leases and related amendments for significant build-to-suit, ground, retail, office and mixed-use projects. Prior to beginning her legal practice, Ashley worked as a director for Teach For America, a non-profit organization serving children in low-income communities.
