Brennan Carmody is an attorney in the Technology Transactions and Data Privacy practice. He drafts and negotiate complex technology and related transactions for clients across a variety of industries. 

Brennan is committed to understanding the unique business model, practice, and objectives of each client to help enhance and protect their investment in a range of technologies, be it computer and mechanical systems and devices, software, biomedical devices or automotive technologies. 

Brennan’s experience includes:

  • Drafting and negotiating all manner of technology and data agreements and licenses
  • Managing technology, data privacy, and intellectual property diligence for complex corporate transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Brennan was an associate in the intellectual property group at an Atlanta headquartered national firm and a D.C.-based IP boutique, where his experience included patent litigation and prosecution.  His technical background and training as a patent attorney allow him to better anticipate how the underlying technology can impact his client’s needs.

In his pro bono work, Brennan serves as chairman of the Atlanta Children’s Shelter Advisory Committee, assists low-income individuals by drafting and filing patents through Georgia PATENTS, and serves as a facilitator for Generous Giving.
