Christopher Grote has an in-depth understanding of process optimization and commercialization, which informs his innovative and inventive approaches within the pharmaceutical industry. As a six sigma black belt, Chris is also a former Fellow with companies including Covidien and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, which is experience that he relies on to better understand his clients’ intellectual property and business objectives.
As a patent scientist, Chris has been published in highly rated scientific journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and the Journal of Organic Chemistry. He has also obtained more than 30 patents, has presented at national scientific meetings, and is a reviewer for national chemical journals.
Chris received his Ph.D. in the field of organic synthesis and main group organic synthesis from the University of Delaware. He then went to work as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of heterocyclic chemistry and targeted imaging agents at the University of California -- Berkeley.
