Clients appreciate Chris Mohart’s value-oriented thinking, attentive service, and problem solving abilities.  Because he tries lawsuits and drafts agreements, Chris is often referred to as a full- service construction and real estate attorney by his clients, who include: owners, developers, investors, lenders, contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors.

As a trial attorney, Chris represents clients across the country in arbitration as well as in state and federal courts − both at the trial and appellate levels.  He handles lawsuits relating to breach of contract, land use, insurance coverage, design errors and omissions, defective workmanship, zoning, mechanic’s liens, payment and performance bonds, bid protests, MBE/DBE/WBE challenges, and an array of federal and state statutory violations.  And, as a transactional attorney, Chris assists clients during all phases of their projects − planning, permitting, contract drafting and negotiation, day-to-day advice, and closeout.

Chris’s experience in representing and assisting clients covers a wide variety of markets, including transportation, power, manufacturing, buildings, water, and sewer.
