Corbin Santo leverages his deep understanding of the health care industry and its numerous complexities and regulatory hurdles to help health care providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders achieve their business objectives. As an attorney in the Health Care Alignment and Organizations practice, Corbin focuses on providing transactional, operational and regulatory counsel on a variety of health care-related issues.  

Before joining Polsinelli, Corbin worked as a health care attorney in global law firms in Washington, D.C. and Chicago and also worked as a health care strategy consultant at a large national firm in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Corbin assisted with legal research and writing at the Law-Medicine Center and completed a legal clerkship at a large, nationally-recognized health system in Cleveland, Ohio.

  • Provided day-to-day regulatory and physician contracting advice to one of the largest single-specialty physician practices in Illinois
  • Represented private equity investor in its acquisition of interests in a management services organization for two large radiology practices
  • Represented a large renal dialysis services provider in its contemplated acquisition of a large diagnostic imaging practice
  • Represented private equity investor in its acquisition of a national dental plan and managed care company
  • Represented health systems, hospitals, and physician groups on value-based payment and delivery models, including development of accountable care organizations and clinically-integrated networks
  • Advised corporate and investor clients regarding compliance with state corporate practice of medicine, fee splitting, and other restrictions
  • Advised corporate and investor clients of potential health care regulatory risks related to investments in the health care industry, including investments in health care providers and suppliers and pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers
  • Provided health care fraud and abuse analyses for financial arrangements involving health care providers (including supervising fair market value analyses related to such arrangements)
