David Arthur firmly believes that the best way to effectively represent clients in litigation is to fully immerse himself in understanding the client’s business. This hands-on approach allows him to fully engage in crafting defense strategies that align with the client’s business objectives and their definitions of success.

David’s practice primarily involves the defense of corporations in matters involving complex torts including asbestos exposure, premises liability, environmental exposures, and product liability. He represents companies in the petrochemical, construction, and automotive industries. In addition, David has litigated cases involving business disputes, as well as employment and labor matters.

David has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including trial. He specializes in defending companies faced with complex high stakes litigation. David's experience in the courtroom and his deep understanding of the science often rooted in these cases enable him to successfully defend companies at every stage of a lawsuit—from the threat of litigation through trial. He has participated in trials for contractor defendants, premises defendants, petrochemical defendants, product defendants and fiber supply defendants. David currently handles settlement negotiations for a number of clients. He also has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration.
