Debbie Klis is known for her work with private funds and investment companies in connection with fund structuring, advertising, private placement procedures, compliance policies and procedures, side letters, placement contracts, related agreements and issues. Debbie’s experience extends to Opportunity Zone Funds, real estate investment trusts and partnerships, EB-5 funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds complex partnership reorganizations, domestic and offshore hedge funds, ranging from startup funds to major fund complexes. Debbie has extensive experience with private securities offerings and financial products, including derivatives and global equity offerings, where she represents placement agents, issuers, broker-dealers, investment banks, and multi-national financial institutions, funds, investment advisers, investment companies and banks.
