Emily Harvin is an associate in the firm’s Employment Disputes, Litigation and Arbitration practice. Emily regularly litigates employment-related matters involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, and various Labor Code violations. Emily has represented employers in both state and federal court as well as before administrative bodies in California. 

Emily also spends much of her time advising and counseling both large, corporate clients and small local clients in day-to-day employment-related matters involving workplace accommodations, disciplinary action, terminations, reductions in force, wage and hour compliance, employee handbooks and policies and employment-related transactions including, but not limited to, employment agreements and severance agreements. 

Emily has experience representing employers in a variety of industries including hospitals and healthcare facilities, restaurants, manufacturers and retailers, car dealerships, shipping companies, beauty and cosmetics companies, schools, religious organizations, staffing companies and high-profile celebrity figures.
