With more than 35 years of experience, Greg Nickell has closed more than 1,500 real estate secured loans in 30-plus states. His extensive experience and attention to detail make him a tremendous asset to clients and to Polsinelli’s real estate finance practice.

Greg has helped a variety of lending clients close loans, including banks, life insurance companies and CMBS conduit lenders. He has more than twenty years of experience assisting CMBS conduit lenders in the origination and securitization of their loans and working with loan servicers in navigating the issues involved in commercial mortgage securitizations. His legal advice is always tempered by his real world experience, which allows him to incorporate practicalities in assisting clients in determining an effective course of action when faced with difficult legal or business issues.
  • Represented a national conduit lender in closing a $118,700,000 loan secured by 20 medical office properties in 12 states.
  • Assisted a national conduit lender in structuring three loans totaling $74,000,000 and secured by 10 separate hotel properties in multiple states.
  • Assisted in negotiating loan applications, drafted the client’s loan closing handbook and form loan documents, kept its closing policies and procedures and loan documents updated and provided advice with respect to loan closings.
  • Represented two national conduit lenders acting as co-lenders in closing a $98,500,000 loan secured by a mix of single tenant rental properties located in states.
  • Represented a national bank lender in connection with an $11,000,000 construction loan related to the complete reconstruction of an upscale manufactured housing community located in the suburbs of New York City.
