Jennifer is a creative and forceful litigator that her clients turn to for high-stakes litigation. Jennifer helps clients navigate through all stages of the litigation process, whether in federal or state courts, or any number of arbitration forums. She focuses her practice on complex business disputes, including multifaceted contractual disputes, business torts, fiduciary litigation, unfair competition litigation and class action defense, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and California’s Unfair Competition Law. Jennifer has also developed a wide range of knowledge and experience regarding issues relating to supply chain litigation, including issues relating to product recall. Jennifer also has represented a broad array of clients in real estate litigation, including commercial landlords in Arizona in connection with interpreting, enforcing and litigation regarding commercial leases, as well as other litigation arising from real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Jennifer was an in-house lawyer for a financial institution. This background gives Jennifer a unique perspective on assisting her clients in navigating courtrooms and keeping focus on the overall business strategy.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of one of the largest ambulance transport companies in the United States in connection with a multi-year False Claims Act litigation involving hundreds of thousands of claims.
  • Ongoing representation of national blood services supplier in wide variety of matters with emphasis on supply chain litigation, including issues relating to requirements contracts. Worked directly with client from first notice of product recall through successful mediation with vendor to recover majority of client’s losses.
  • Obtained summary judgment in Florida on behalf of self-insured moving company in multi-million dollar matter involving breach of duty to defend.
  • Obtained dismissal of class action lawsuit against nationwide self-storage company under claims asserting violations of California’s Unfair Competition Law.
  • Obtained $32 million judgment on behalf of telecommunications company in breach of contract and business tort litigation.
  • Represented publicly-traded holding company that is parent of distributor of propane in a negligence and negligent supervision claim arising out of catastrophic explosion of propane tanks allegedly sold by the subsidiary used to power food trucks. The litigation was a years-long proceeding that involved the application of federal, state and industry standards to determine the appropriate standard of care and was ultimately settled.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of owner of resort after broker sued for commission after unsuccessful engagement.
  • Representation of policyholder in bad faith litigation against crop-insurer after hard-freeze in California and Arizona led to catastrophic loss and insurer refused to provide coverage.
  • Representation of publicly traded pharmaceutical company in dispute with distribution provider in front of AAA Arbitration Panel.
  • Representation of lender in negligence lawsuit against customer’s auditor failed to detect fraud by the customer.
  • Successfully obtained representational status for class-action plaintiffs in seniority integration proceeding.
  • Negotiated resolutions to multi-million dollars cases on behalf of various developers and operating companies in lender-liability suits, in federal, state and bankruptcy courts.
    After lengthy litigation, negotiated settlement on behalf of client with existing lender and helped client obtain new financing.
