Jared Brooner's attention to detail and strong work ethic make him a valuable asset to clients. Jared regularly assists a broad range of health care clients including multi-hospital health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, FQHCs and physician practices with various transactional, operational and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on the following:
  • The development and operation of clinically integrated networks (CINs) and accountable care organizations (ACOs), and other hospital/physician alignment strategies, including numerous Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACOs
  • Handling regulatory compliance matters and developing solutions with respect to anti-kickback, physician self-referral, physician fee-splitting, and civil monetary penalties laws
  • Navigating issues related to  the privacy and security of health information,  including electronic health records (EHRs) and health information exchanges (HIEs)
  • Assistance with business development and operational objectives for both for-profit and tax-exempt health care entities, including physician contracting, joint venture arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters
  • Navigating delivery system reform efforts, including the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA)
In addition to his health care work, Jared maintains a general transactional practice. He works with organizations to accomplish their goals and guides them through numerous corporate matters including the formation of partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies, joint ventures, sales, mergers, acquisitions, and employment contracts.
