Jeffrey Guinn counsels domestic and foreign clients in a wide variety of intellectual property matters, with an emphasis in electrical engineering and computer science and patent prosecution.

Jeffrey has represented clients in a variety of fields, including data center technologies, networking technologies, storage technologies, MEMS devices, consumer electronics, medical device technologies, automobile safety devices, security technologies. children’s learning materials, and fashion. 

Jeffrey’s patent prosecution experience includes drafting patent applications for a wide variety of technologies; drafting responses to office actions; drafting pre-appeal briefs, appeal briefs, and response briefs; and directing and instructing foreign associates for filing and prosecuting patent applications in non-U.S. jurisdictions.
