Joshua L. Rayes is an associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation practice group in Polsinelli’s San Francisco office. As a registered engineer with experience in all stages of intellectual property matters, his practice focuses on providing clients with a combination of technical knowledge, business insight and legal guidance. He has experience working in-house, at the judiciary and in private practice. Josh is devoted to creating strategies for clients to address current issues and prepare for future challenges.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Josh worked at a boutique IP litigation firm in the Bay Area. Josh also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patricia K. Norris at the Arizona Court of Appeals. Prior to clerking, Josh served as a full-time extern to the Honorable Kathleen M. O’Malley at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as an extern to the Honorable Jon Thompson at the Arizona Court of Appeals, and as an extern to Arizona Supreme Court’s presiding disciplinary judge, the Honorable William O’Neil.
